What Happens in Practice?

In 2010 Craib Design and Communications and PriceWaterhouseCoopers reviewed 602 sustainability reports for companies headquartered in countries around the world. Of the companies reviewed, 51% of them provided summary performance tables or graphs to help readers understand a company’s performance.

Sometimes progress is difficult to quantify. For example, Intel, an innovator in silicon and processor technologies, has just committed to the UN Global Compact (a global code of ethics) and has little to quantify to date.
