Achievable

Achievable means that the indicator can be accomplished.

To be achievable, an indicator should

  • Be controlled by management
  • Be linked to someone’s responsibilities
  • Require action by someone

Consequently, if the indicator fluctuates toward a negative result, management is required to take action. In other words, they will need to do something to correct the negative trend. It should also be clear from the indicator who in the organization is to take action.
